This is a handsome climbing annual to train up obelisks, wigwams, or trellis, which it will smother with a profusion of leaves and flowers. The intriguing blooms are a glorious gradient of red, orange, and yellow, and look best in a bright and sunny spot. Flowers July to October. Planting sow under glass February May or in situ May June. Soak seeds overnight before planting into individual pots or directly where they are to grow. If started under cover, gradually harden off outdoors before transplanting to final location when all danger of frost has passed. Aftercare deadhead regularly to prolong the flowering season.
