Lupinus the Chatelaine Pink Seeds

StocksandGreen
Valuable for adding height and colour in a border, this handsome perennial has pink and white, pea-like flowers carried on stately spires. They are particularly long-lasting, make excellent cut flowers and can have a vase life of a week. Flowers July August. Planting before planting, soak the seeds for 48 hours. Sow under cover, March May or September October, 5-10mm deep. Start off in a propagator or sealed polythene bag on a windowsill, as germination requires 20 30C, and can take 3 4 weeks. Prick out to individual pots when big enough to handle. Harden off seedlings, and transplant to final position 50cms apart after all threat of frost has passed. Aftercare cut faded flower spikes and feed and water to stimulate a second blooming. Eventual height & spread 90 60cms.
