New for 2025! The Mountfield MTF 1538M-SD side discharge garden tractor can offer the perfect solution for those of you who do not wish to collect your grass trimmings. In tall growth conditions the side discharge mode neatly cuts and spreads the grass so it can be left to wilt naturally. Features Stiga ST 350 engine Large Rear Wheels 7 Cutting Heights 6L Fuel Tank Ergonomic Steering Wheel Tow bar and mulch plate included. For areas that are being cut on a more regular basis the mulch plug will cut and re-cut the grass trimmings into smaller particles that disappear into the turf, returning valuable nutrients to the soil. This is useful in drier conditions when the grass is shorter. Powered by a 352cc single cylinder petrol engine the 1538M-SD tractor has a manual transmission with 5 forward and a reverse gear. It is fitted with a 98cm/38.6 inch twin blade cutter deck with 2 anti-scalp wheels. Height of cut is easy to adjust with a lever located conveniently buy the driving seat. There are 7 pre-set positions available from 25-80mm. Larger 18 rear wheels help to provide extra traction in damp conditions.
