The Handy THTPA48 plug aerator can be towed behind a lawn or garden tractor removing 5/8 ( 1.58 cm) diameter soil plugs from the ground. This allows compacted soil to loosen up letting in moisture and nutrients for healthier root growth. It has a 48 (122 cm) working width with utilising 32 hollow core tines. The tines can penetrate the soil up to 3 in depth and are best suited to easily compacted soil such as clay. The steel construction sits on 10 pneumatic tyres for a smoother ride. Specifications
