The Handy THTPA48 plug aerator can be towed behind a lawn or garden tractor removing five 8 (1.58 cm) diameter soil plugs from the ground. This allows compacted soil to loosen up and lets in moisture and nutrients for healthier root growth.The THTPA48 has a 48 (122 cm) working width with utilising 32 hollow core tines. The tines are best suited to easily compacted soil such as clay and can penetrate the soil up to 3 in depth.
