Adding a lively smack of colour in beds and patio containers, this lovely little annual will also make fetching cut flower when picked early enough in the morning. The flowers attract pollinators, so this is a good variety to grow close to fruit and vegetables. Flowers July to September. Planting sow March May in situ, in shallow, pre-watered drills. Cover with a very fine layer of soil over the seeds and firm down. Keep moist until the seedlings emerge, and then thin them out to about 15cms spacing. Aftercare cut off dead flowers to avoid unwanted self-seeding. Regular deadheading and cutting of flowers through summer will stimulate more growth. Eventual height & spread 30 20cms.
