A popular, Spencer-type selection with lovely scent, big flowers, and long stems. Its perfect for borders, patio pots and for cutting. Its intense purple associates well with other colours. It will require support and tying in as it grows. Flowers May to September. Planting sow indoors in autumn or spring. Alternatively sow outdoors, once the threat of frost has passed. Soak seeds for 24 hours prior to sowing. To encourage bushy growth, pinch out the main shoot once the second set of true leaves have developed. Aftercare prolong the flowering season by cutting flowers and deadheading regularly. When established, feed with a high potash fertiliser. Eventual height & spread 200 20cms.
