With beautifully formed blooms and a long vase life, flower arrangers love displaying this navy-blue, sometimes violet favourite on its own, or mixing it with other sweet peas. It has an enchanting scent and will require support as it grows. Flowers May to September. Planting sow in situ during September, possibly protecting with a cloche during harsh winters. Or sow inside October November, or January March, acclimatising the seedlings before moving outside. To encourage bushy growth, pinch out the main shoot once the second set of true leaves have developed. Aftercare prolong the flowering season by cutting flowers and deadheading regularly. When established, feed with a high potash fertiliser. Eventual height & spread 200 20cms.
