StocksandGreen
This cherry red nasturtium produces its semi-double flowers early in the season. Very attractive to pollinators, it makes a trusty companion plant that helps keep white fly away from other crops. The foliage and flowers are edible and provide a peppery hit and a splash of colour in a mixed salad. Flowers May to October. Planting sow under glass, 1 2cms deep, in moist seed compost, from March to April. Transplant into pots when the seedlings are big enough to handle. When there is no longer a danger of frost harden the plants off before planting out. Alternatively, sow outside in situ, May July, spacing the plants at 20cms. Aftercare deadhead regularly to prolong flowering, and dont feed this variety grows best in poor soils. Eventual height & spread 45 30cms.
