Digitalis Purpurea (foxgloves) Seeds

StocksandGreen
A sensational choice for a woodland border, this handsome foxglove produces hot pink, tubular flowers with speckled throats on stately spires that rise above woolly foliage. It looks best in big drifts and is irresistibly attractive to bees. If allowed, it will self-seed freely. Planting these seeds require warmth and light to germinate. Sow them sparingly on the surface of moist compost, February April, and leave uncovered. Prick out into pots once large enough to handle, and transplant to their final position in autumn. Can be sown during May and June, directly where they are to grow. Aftercare remove faded flower stalks to prevent self-seeding. Eventual height & spread 150 45cms. CAUTION: All parts of this plant are toxic if ingested.
