Each section is constructed using mortice and tenon joints reinforced with teak dowels to provide maximum strength and stability. The beauty of teak is that its naturally protected against the elements due to its oily, dense nature that guards against cracking or splitting without the use of external products. This also allows the teak to age naturally as it begins to turn a silver-grey colour which highlights the high quality of the teak wood! For cosmetic purposes, the golden lustre of new teak can be preserved with the use of our Teak Care Products.
