Blessed with strongly scented flowers from late spring into early summer, French lilacs are desirable deciduous shrubs that really make their presence felt. A real showstopper! Appearing in great profusion at the end of branches clothed with heart-shaped green leaves, the tiny, packed clusters of buds open to reveal a mass of double blooms that smell incredible and act as a magnet to wildlife. A sun lover, lilacs can be grown in just about any soil or can be raised in large containers. For a sensational floral display, year after year, deadhead when two new shoots appear beneath faded blooms and remove any wayward branches to keep a compact shape. Supplied as an established plant in a 2L pot, ready to plant out.
