The Intex surface skimmer is designed to skimmer the water surface of your swimming pool, removing leaves and other floating debris before they sink to the bottom of the pool. The skimmer is easily mounted to both the Intex Easy Set & Frames pools with a bracket that is supplied with the skimmer. Once connected to your exsisting filter pump the skimmer will start to draw from the water surface. Please note a filter pump with a minimum flow of 800 gph (3,028 L/Hr.) will be required. The idea of this skimmer is to catch debris such as leaves before they sink to the bottom of your pool.
