What is an Ex Demo Machine? These are machines that have been used for display purposes in our showroom or demonstration days with customers. They have had very little (if any use) and these machines are all tried and tested through our workshop before despatch. An ex demo machine may have light scratches or some very limited signs of wear and tear consistent with a few hours of use. They all come with a full manufacturer warranty. The Cobra MX515SPBI is an aluminium decked four wheel lawn mower with a 51cm cutting width, power drive and 5 speed gearbox. The cast aluminium deck has many benefits including durability, corrosion resistance and ease of cleaning. Cobra Premium lawnmowers are designed in the UK specifically for the British mowing conditions. Powered by the Briggs and Stratton 675IS InStart petrol engine, the premium quality Cobra MX515SPBI 4 wheeled lawnmower uses a push button electric start system. These innovative 675 InStart engines use a small lithium battery which clips onto the top of the engine and provides 10 starts with just a 10 minute charge. A fully charged battery can give over 50 starts of the mower. The 5 speed gearbox and power drive gives the user excellent control on more challenging terrains and mowing conditions. The MX515SPBI offers the user 4 mowing options Cut and collection directly into the 60 litre grass bag. Using the mulch plug in the rear of the mower enables it to cut and re-cut the grass cuttings into very fine pieces which are blown back onto the lawn where they virtually disappear. As the pieces are re-absorbed through the soil they provide extra nutrients and moisture for the grass roots. This method is recommended for using in drier conditions on shorter length grass. With the grass collector removed the cuttings will be discharged to the rear of the mower directly onto the ground. If you have longer grass areas where the cuttings can be left to wilt back this is a good option. A side discharge chute will place the grass cuttings in neat lines alongside the machine as you mow. As with the rear discharge option this method of mowing is ideal for longer grass and informal areas where the clippings can be left to wilt back naturally. If you use the one 3rd cutting method and only cut a 3rd of the grass height at a time then this should give your lawn the best cut and finish.
