The DR Trimmer / Mower is much easier to control than a handheld trimmer, but its extra power can cause damage in sensitive areas around trees, garden borders, against wooden panels or fence posts. The TrimSafe Guard attachment will prevent accidental girdling of trees or any other unintended damage without slowing you down. Once the mounting plate has been installed the tree guard goes on and off using two pins, which takes less than a few minutes. The tips of a full length cord are inset 1 from the outer guard bar. Please Note: Will Not Fit the 2013 range of DR trimmers. TR4 Premier, Premier Plus, 8.75 Pro, 8.75 SP PRO-XL.
