The DHC-310 hedge cutter is part of the range of 40v Garden+ gardening tools from Echo. This range of battery powered tools currently has 7 machines available including lawnmowers, chainsaw, grass trimmer, hedge trimmer and leaf blower. The Garden+ 40v collection has been designed by Echo for domestic gardeners looking for that build quality and reliability associated with Echo tools. There is a choice of two battery sizes and one charger which is compatible with all the machines. For hand-held machines Echo recommend the 2Ah battery as it is lighter to carry. Running times always depend on the amount of work the machine is doing. Cutting thicker material drains the battery quicker as the motor is working harder. Cordless garden machinery is very popular for use in domestic gardens as they are low noise and low emission. Handy around the garden the DHC310 has a balanced lightweight design weighing only 2.7kg without a battery. Features Brushless motor Triple sharpened teeth 3 position handle Double-sided blades Double safety trigger Low maintenance Echo have included features which make the DHC-310 simple and comfortable to use but still powerful enough to tackle tough tasks. The handle has an over-moulded soft grip and can be rotated into 3 positions through 180 so you can tackle hedges from all angles. The double sided blades have an effective cutting length of 604mm and are triple sharpened for a clean precise cut. The battery and charger are not included with the hedge trimmer and are available to buy separately.
