Not only does it nourish your plants, but it also enhances the appearance of your beds while protecting your garden.Detailed InformationMagic Mulch is a 100% chemical-free, natural garden mulch produced in Somerset. It is derived from the fibre by-product of Rocket Gros anaerobic digestion process, which generates gas and electricity. This process enriches the fibre with high levels of N:P:K, microbes, and natural nutrients. Farmers have been using this digestate fibre as an eco-friendly alternative to chemical fertilisers for years, proving it to be just as effective without the environmental and wildlife risks associated with chemicals.Using Magic MulchWhen using Magic Mulch as a no-dig surface mulch, spread an even layer over the soil surface at about one inch thick. Avoid piling the Mulch around the base of plants; instead, create a donut ring or space around the base. Each bag provides approximately 10 square feet of coverage.Magic Mulch is too nutrient-rich for contact with freshly planted seedlings or delicate salads immediately after application. After a few weeks, it becomes suitable for such plants. The Mulch is not a compost substitute and should not be planted into directly. However, blending it with potting compost is an excellent way to enhance nutritional value for your potting mix.If using Magic Mulch in a polytunnel or greenhouse, apply it on a cool day with doors open for ventilation.
