This annual marigold is delightfully decorative and long-flowering, and makes a useful companion plant among herbs and vegetables, as it deters certain pest species. Flowers May to September. Planting sow under glass, March April, or in situ April May. Sow 1cm deep, in pots or drills at 30cms spacing. Keep at 1823C for germination. Indoor-raised seeds should be hardened off before planting out. Seeds can also be sown outside August October for flowers the following year. Aftercare deadhead regularly to extend the flowering season. This variety may self-seed. Eventual height & spread 45 30cms.
