Highly ornamental and long-flowering, this annual marigold can also play a valuable role when grown among herbs and vegetables, as its strong scent will deter some pests while attracting pollinators. This tall selection also makes a good cut flower. Flowers May to September. Planting sow under glass, March April, or in situ March June. Sow 1.5cm deep, in good, moist soil and thin the seedlings out to 23cms spacing. Suitable for succession sowing to provide flowers through the season. Seeds can also be sown outside, August October, for flowers the following year. Aftercare prolong the flowering season by regularly deadheading. Eventual height & spread 60 30cms.
