StocksandGreen A superb choice for the middle of a border, this much-loved biennial delivers a joyous mix of pinks, white and reds. With its long-lasting flowers and robust stems, it makes a great cut flower, and in the garden its a magnet for bees and butterflies. Flowers May to September. Planting sow in situ April June, when all risk of frost has passed. Sow sparingly, 5mm deep into moist, well-prepared soil. When large enough to handle, thin seedlings out and keep well-watered. Alternatively, sow under cover September October in trays of seed compost and overwinter for planting out the following spring. Biennial, this selection flowers in the second year.
