StocksandGreen This is a compact variety that makes fine ground cover and looks especially good in big, bold drifts. Perennial, it will flower in its first year and is very attractive to pollinators, which will flock to its clusters of dainty purple flowers. Can be grown in beds or patio containers. Flowers July to November. Planting sow under glass, in a good quality seed compost, February April. Cover the seeds lightly and keep at 2427C. Avoid over-watering. When large enough to handle, transplant the seedlings into pots and harden off before planting out, at 45cms spacing, when all danger of frost has passed.
