This easy-grow cauliflower is a great choice for succession sowing and can thus be harvested for most of the year. The well-formed white heads have a sweet mild flavour. Harvest March to December. Planting sow January February under glass, or in situ March May. Alternatively, sow under glass September October for overwintering. Best sown in modules 10-15mm deep, 4-6 weeks prior to planting out. Space plants 45cms apart, with 60 80cms between rows. Early and late sowings will benefit from winter protection. Young plants grown under glass should be hardened off before planting out. Aftercare to stop the sun from yellowing the growing cauliflowers, secure their long leaves over the top. Use netting to protect plants from insects and birds. Grow mint and nasturtiums nearby to discourage pests. Eventual height & spread 55 75cms.
