This Australian climber is a great addition to any garden, perfect for training on a trellis, arch, or pergola. Commonly referred to as the bluebell creeper, this plant displays stunning bluebell-like, lilac-blue blooms which hang downwards in clusters along the woody stems. Its strong twining stems bear delicate green, lance-shaped foliage all year round. Their growth habit makes them great for weaving up supports or along a sunny wall. This plant blooms throughout summer from June to August and is rich in nectar, attracting butterflies, bees, and other pollinators to your garden. With an eventual height of£1.5£2 metres Sollya heterophylla can give you masses of colour.??Bluebell creepers grow best in full sun but can tolerate partial shade. Plant in moist but well-drained soil or compost and grow in a container if you are in a colder region of the UK.
