Part of the Stiga 500 Series range of garden tools, the BC 500e comes complete with a robust, 3 tooth blade for cutting back hardy vegetation and a tap and go nylon head for maintaining edges. Cordless garden machinery offers the user a cable free working area with reduced noise, zero emissions and minimal maintenance whilst matching the torque of a small petrol engine, with approximately 10% of the running costs!The brushless motor fitted to the BC 500e is highly efficient and hard wearing. This motor is protected by aluminium housing for additional resistance. The ergonomically designed handle makes working in narrow spaces a breeze while the lightweight shaft and harness make working over longer periods more comfortable. The 4Ah battery will run the BC 500e for approximately 30-45 minutes depending on cutting conditions. Please note: This machine is NOT supplied with a battery and charger. These are available to add to your order as optional extras. The 48v batteries are available in 3 sizes; 2Ah, 4Ah and 5Ah and a standard or fast charger are available.
