The Mountfield SP53 Elite rotary mower is a self-propelled, 4 wheel mower. Fitted with a powerful Honda engine, this power-driven petrol mower is ideal for lawns up to 1600m2 in size. Designed with a wide 51cm (20) cutting width and 5 adjustable height levels from 27-20cm, the SP53 Elite easily copes with varying lawn conditions. A combination of a robust steel chassis, large rear wheels and quality ball bearing, grooved wheels make the SP53 Elite one of Mountfields top model mowers.Additional impressive features of the Mountfield SP53 include its mulching facility where lawn clipping are reduced to a fine mulch and dispersed onto the lawn. Mulching returns valuable nutrients to the ground, helping retain moisture and deterring moss growth. If choosing collection, the extra-large 60 litre collection bag has been designed with aerated fabric and warning.Using fresh petrol in your Honda engine is a must as fuel can begin to go stale within 4 6 weeks. Stale petrol will affect the engines performance & how it runs, ultimately stopping it completely. Try to only buy as much fuel as you need and dont store big quantities. The alternative is to mix your fresh petrol with a fuel additive which can keep it fresh for up to 3 years.
