The Hayter Harrier 56 BBC (575) is the mid-spec model in the Harrier 56 rear roller mower range. It is packed full of Hayter features which include the new Briggs & Stratton professional engine, Blade Brake Clutch, Sens-a-Speed transmission and Vari-Pitch cutting technology. The Harrier 56 model is the widest rear roller mower in the Hayter domestic range, the 56cm cutting width is suitable for larger lawns and gardens. The Harrier 56 (575) BBC model is fitted with the Hayter autodrive transmission and Sens-a-Speed. The Sens-a-Speed system uses a clutch lever handle to increase or decrease the mowers speed. The rear roller is constructed of reinforced polymer with glass-fibre weave, this gives increased strength and durability, also noise and weight will be decreased when travelling across hard surfaces without any loss of performance. The 2 piece ribbed, roller design gives excellent traction and allows you to cut right up to the edge of lawn borders without tipping.The Briggs and Stratton professional engines are built for daily use and offer consistent performance and durability. Features:Crank-Safe BBC System: The blade brake clutch stops the blade without having to turn the engine off reducing the time spent emptying the grass bagThe Vari-Pitch cutting technology adjusts the forward pitch angle of the deck as the height of cut is raised or lowered. This increases the airflow in more difficult mowing conditions (longer grass) ensuring superior performance at each cut.Trim Side lets the user mow right up to the edge of the lawn. The right hand wheel, cutting blade and rear roller are all positioned in-line. This is ideal for mowing around borders or retaining walls.A wash port has been integrated into the deck so it can be cleaned off quickly and easily after each use.
